Dual Fan Drying
Recently Purchased. Aside from the front water elbow requiring additional thread seal tape (Plumbers tape), installation was fun. It did require about three hours of my time, with music playing in the background. Is made of quality material. Quiet. Internal lighting is cool. Third rack is convenient. We hope to have years of maintenance free use if this appliance. Good work. S. D.Review by S. D. 14/09/21
I read some reviews noting installation difficulties, and agree with the reviewers that mentioned that you have to study the very detailed installation manual first. The electrical connection and the water inlet are at the front of the dishwasher, and run in channels to the rear. The drain hose which is provided connects at the rear. Perhaps the only unusual part of it is the required 90 degree water inlet elbow, which is 3/8 NPT to 3/8 compression. Amazingly enough, I had one in my garage, though it makes sense to hunt one down before delivery or pickup. Also, it is a tight fit in a 24" x 34" standard space. You need all of that 34" height, which is similar to Bosch and some other machines. We replaced a heavily used ten year old GE Profile dishwasher, which adjusted down to a space height of as little as 33 3/8. Our space is 34" high exactly, and if it had been even 1/8th inch lower, that installation would not have been possible. Measure before buying! Once installed, my wife and I have been very impressed with the dishwasher functionality. It operates very quietly and produces super clean dishes. The cycle options are nice, including Auto, Heavy, Normal, Quick and Delicate cycles, with Sanitize, Hi-Temp, Heated Dry and Extended Dry options. LED's on the door show the cycle progress, AND there's an internal bright LED that illuminates the contents whenever the door is opened. Since I do self-repair of everything I own, before buying this dishwasher I wanted to be sure that I could find parts for it. Midea does sell parts online directly, at a fair price. Everything needed for repairs down the road is available.Review by HandsOnHomeowner 07/09/21
This thing is nearly silent, I thought it wasn't running, but as you can see in the photos, the dishes came out spotless! I wish I had taken some before photos since they were full of gunk. I just hope the door latch doesn't break, as that seems to be the only issue in other reviews. Also - this dishwasher doesn't vent outside. I thought it vented to the side (which would damage cabinets - it doesn't vent to the side), it actually recirculates the humid air and the moisture condenses on the interior stainless steel (kind of like a cold aluminum can that ends up wet in the summer air). So the dishes will be dry, but the inside walls will have water on them.Review by Scoop 15/08/21
