I have this unit installed in a converted box truck running on solar power. I have been running it for 7 months in hot southwest Florida. It works great and I haven't had any issues. Love that I can control it with the remote.

I have a 15"X 20" bedroom and this AC chills great... so far. The heat outside south texas is 98/102 and this lifesaver has me chilled all day where I spend much of the time due to the pandemic. I've had it two months and my utility bill went from $245/$275 (central airing a big empty house just to cool my bedroom/bathroom) to $90/$97 bucks. Never had it to full max 7, ranging between 5 and 6. It's already paid for itself yay. Cleaning filter often and once a month taking off front panel to gently brush away dirt and debris from front radiatory thing. The only thing bothering me is the filter orientation. arrow says up but it don't fit tight. small stuff. so far... great..

I have had this AC for about a month now and it works really well. Perfect for a small bedroom and the remote is nice too. It's quiet and has many fan settings. Fits perfectly in the window.

I love my A/C. It does not have Wi-Fi but the one I purchased does have a remote. The color black goes with decor in my bedroom and cools perfectly and gets so cold I have to turn it off. It also has a "dry" setting dehumidifier that works very well. Can't beat that! I love all my Arctic King products they work excellently and are packaged very well. I also have a black freezer by Arctic King which I have had for a year and love that too. Just added a 50 pint dehumidifier by Arctic King as well. All products are affordable and work great. Very satisfied and glad I choose them.

I have a small room and it works great. If you're a white noise person like me it is great for that to, while cooling you off.

$109, at Sam's club this little a/c unit is a joy to use. It easily keeps our 10' x 20' kitchen cool and comfortable. It has trouble free mechanical controls and works efficiently by collecting condensate water in a tray outside which is constantly thrown back on the condensing coils.

I was given the 5000 btu ac 4 yrs ago, 2yrs used already. This is my 2nd yr having it and it still works as great as it did when my daughter owned it. I decided to buy a brand new 1 for my open floor, lrg apt living room/kitchen area and put the used 1 in my bedroom. Both work identically well for great cooling. I have not had problems with them at all aside from a little condensation which is easily taken care of by keeping the front of the ac tipped slightly upwards. Tolerable deal for the great price. The used 1 runs just as quiet as the brand new 1. Doesnt keep anyone from getting sleep. Because of the great luck I've had with these particular ac's I bought 2 more for other family households. Not 1 of them has had a problem and love the cooling ability. Currently looking to buy 1 more, hard to find during an unusual heatwave in MT right now. The room sizes vary from small to med to lrg yet the ac works well no matter what. The smaller rooms actually get too cold sometimes. Obviously a small 5000 is not meant to cool a 5 bedroom house with 3 levels but I can tell you we've had just as great cooling in our very lrg kitchen/dining space in the house as well as in the lrg living/kitchen area in the apt. We keep them clean, basic maintenance of the filters and we've not had any issues with the way it works or runs. The avg temp during a normal summer here is between 80°-90°. This yr we are seeing temps about 100°. We are comfortable and the ac's are holding up well.
