Midea “Kick Off Lucky Goal Lucky Draw” - Terms and Conditions

1. The “Kick Off Lucky Goal” lucky draw contest (the “Contest”) is organized by MD (Singapore) Consumer Product Co Pte Ltd (Company Registration Number: 201906062M) (the “Company” or “Midea”). By participating in the Contest, each contestant agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set forth herein.

2. Eligibility

(a) This Contest is open to Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents, and Singapore Residents (with an employment pass or work permit or long-term pass which is valid at the time of the contest period. Strictly eligible for contestants aged 18 years and above as stated on their Identity Card/Passport only.

(b) By participating in this Contest, each contestant warrants and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All rules and regulations and instructions issued by the Company from time to time will be deemed incorporated in these Terms and Conditions.

(d) To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria as stated herein at any time (with or without notice or reason) and/or determine at its sole discretion whether any contestant should be excluded from entering or participating in the Contest.

(e) To qualify for this Contest, contestants must:

(i) Purchase any Midea products (mix and match) worth $399 and above; and

(ii) Purchases are made during the promotion period from 1^st December 2022 to 28^th February 2023; and

(iii) Like and share the contest content from “midea.sg”/ “midea_singapore” on Facebook or Instagram (optional); and

(iv) Enter Contest Landing Page https://mideakickoff-luckygoal.com/ to fill in all required information:

● Full Name (as per NRIC)

● Local Contact Number

● Email Address

● Purchased Midea Product Model Name

● Product Serial Number

● Purchase Date

● Upload a Clear Photo of the Product Serial Number

● Upload a Photo of the Retailer Invoice (Proof of Purchase)

● Upload a screenshot of the shared contest content

3. Contest Period

This Contest will commence on 1^st December 2022, 00:00 hrs, and end on 28^th February 2023, 23:59 hrs GMT +08:00 (“Contest Period”).

4. Contest Mechanics

(a) The Contest mechanics are as follows:

From 1^st December 2022, 00:00hrs to 28^th February 2023, 23:59hrs, purchase any Midea products (mix and match) that are worth $399 and above from any authorized retailers to participate in the Contest.

(b) Monthly lucky draw prizes list as follows:

(i) Top prize - Round Trip Air Tickets from Singapore to Manchester, England for 1 pax (Worth SGD$3,500): 1 winner per month

(ii) Second prize - iPhone 14 Pro Max: 3 winners per month

(iii) Third prize - Midea 8.5Kg Front Load Washer (MF200W85B): 10 winners per month

(iv) Fourth prize - Choose 1 of 2 options (40 winners per month):

- Midea 35L Electric Oven (MEO-35CQA)

- Manchester City Jersey Outfit

(i) Only the Top prize can be exchanged for cash at the Company’s sole discretion.

(ii) Top, Second, Third, and Fourth prizes must be utilized or collected on and before 31^st March 2023. All Lucky Draw Prizes are not transferable.

(iii) Please be informed that flight fare is dynamic pricing, bookings are subject to availability upon redemption. Appointed travel agent and fares variances are to be topped up by the prize winner if any.

(iv) Monthly Lucky Draw Top Prize is exclusive of travel insurance, visa, airport transfer, food, baggage services, and all other travel expenses or additional services or charges incurred.

(v) For Top Prize, kindly email mideasg.luckydraw@gmail.com at least 20 days in advance to confirm travel dates and arrange an appointment Travel Voucher Collection (Subjected to flight availability).

(vi) For the Top prize, winners have to make an appointment by email to mideasg.luckydraw@gmail.com to redeem travel vouchers issued by our appointed travel agent. Upon receiving the travel voucher, travel bookings are to be done directly with the appointed travel agent. Matters pertaining to travel cancellation, amendments, extension, deviation/alteration from travel itinerary and general matters relating to Tours are subject to policies of appointed travel agent.

(vii) Winners are deemed to agree with and be bounded by the terms and conditions of the appointed travel agent.

(viii) The prize(s) may be subject to additional terms and conditions, and each winner agrees to comply with all such additional terms and conditions.

(ix) Midea reserves the right to, at any time and in its sole and absolute discretion, replace and/or substitute any of the Prize(s) with any other item of a similar value.

(x) Midea and its associated travel agent shall not be held liable for any cost incurred by Customer:

· Lost/misplaced/damaged travel voucher

· Travel cancellation, postpone, extension, deviation from itinerary

5. Submission method:

(a) Like Midea Singapore on Facebook Page @midea.sg OR Instagram Page @midea_singapore.

(b) To participate in the Contest, click on the form LINK or scan the QR code: fill up your personal particulars such as full name (as per NRIC), address, email address and contact number and contestants must upload their soft copy clear picture of their invoice/receipt, product serial number (22 characters made up with numbers and alphabets), and key in purchase and delivery date. All this personal information given will kept confidential with Midea Singapore and in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act. (d) Single invoice/ receipt is entitled to one (1) contest participation only. Multiple entries of the same receipt will be counted as one (1) submission only.

(e) Each successful entry will stand a chance to win our monthly lucky draw.

(f) By submitting and/or participating in this Contest, the contestants are deemed to have consented to:

(i) the collection, use and disclosure of his/her name, identification/passport number, image, voice and/or likeness by Midea for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without any payment and/or compensation except where prohibited by law; and

(ii) receiving promotional, marketing, and other publicity information from Midea from time to time.

6. Contest Period

Monthly Lucky Draw:

(a) Purchase date (As per invoice): 1^st December 2022 to 28^th February 2023

(b) Delivery date: Must be within 1^st December 2022 to 31^st March 2023

7. Notifications of winners after the Lucky Draw:

Each winner will be notified via E-mail or SMS or WhatsApp within 5 working days after the announcement date with instructions on prize collection.

Each winner is required to sign Prize Collection Acknowledgment Form upon prize collection.

8. Prize Collection Deadline:

Each winner must respond to us within 7 working days from the date of notification.

· For Monthly Lucky Draw on 10^th January 2023, winners to redeem prizes by 31^st January 2023.

· For Monthly Lucky Draw on 10^th February 2023, winners to redeem prizes by 28^th February 2023.

· For Monthly Lucky Draw on 10^th March 2023, winners to redeem prizes by 31^st March 2023.

Winners of each respective Monthly Lucky Draw are ineligible to claim prize after Prize Collection Deadline above mentioned.

Midea Singapore remains the right to forfeit the entitled prize(s) if there is no response within 7 days of notification or if prizes are not collected within the prize collection deadline.

9. Documents for Prize Collection

Documents required for prize collection: Each winner is required to bring along:

· Hard copy of the product serial number (from the carton box)

· Hard copy of invoice or receipt

· Present his/her NRIC / Identify card for identity verification

a) The prizes are to be collected by the winners in person and should the winners be unable to collect the prize in person, a Letter of Authorization and a copy of the winner's identification card/passport is required.

b) Letter of Authorization should include the date, name of authorizer, name of the person whom it has been authorized and the identify card/passport number and original signature of the authoriser.

c) During the prize collection, Midea Singapore reserves the right to forfeit prizes if there is any misleading, false, tampered, or wrong information submitted.

d) All prizes are required to do self-collection at our Midea Singapore office located at: 158 Cecil St, #07-01, Singapore 069545 during weekdays only excluding public holidays (9am to 6pm and excluded lunch hours 12pm to 1pm).

e) Collection of prizes is strictly on an appointment basis only.

10. Other terms:

a) By participating in this Contest, each contestant agrees and consents that in any personal data given by him/her to Midea Singapore is accurate and allows us to use it for marketing purposes in organizing, conducting, managing, and administering this Contest.

b) All the successful entries will be kept confidential with Midea Singapore.

c) Midea Singapore reserves the right to disqualify any contestants who did not meet the following requirements: (1) is suspected of fraud; or dishonest with the given information of the invoice details and product serial number during the prize collection, Midea Singapore will forfeit their winning prize.

d) Midea Singapore artworks shown are for illustration purposes only. Actual products may vary due to product enhancement. Midea Singapore reserves the right to change the product images and any specifications at any time without prior notice.

e) Midea Singapore reserves the right to revise any of the terms under these terms and conditions (including but not limited to varying the Campaign Period, Monthly Lucky Draw dates, or Prize collection period), or withdraw or alter any part of this Contest at any time without prior notice and/or assuming any liability to any party(ies).

f) The above terms and conditions of this Contest will be construed, governed, and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

g) The decisions of [Midea] on all matters relating to or in connection with the Contest are final, conclusive, and binding. [Midea] shall not be obliged to give any reason or enter any correspondence with any person on any matter concerning the Contest.

h) [Midea] shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage suffered as a result of, or in connection with the Contest and/or redemption or use of the Prizes howsoever arising, including but not limited to, fulfillment of the prize(s), any error in computing chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment, any notice which is misdirected and/or lost in the post, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination, or suspension by [Midea] of this Contest shall not entitle any party to any claim or compensation against shall for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.

i) In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity, and other materials relating to or in connection with the Contest, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

j) A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any terms of such agreement.
