Midea Arctic King 35 Pint Dehumidifier

The Arctic King 35 Pint Dehumidifier absolutely works like a charm!! This came at the perfect time when our A/C broke. It was super hot and humid and this brought the humidity down immediately and kept the temperature down much cooler as well. We have a 3 story house so we have 1 in the kitchen/living room area on the main floor as well as in our master bedroom on the top floor. Our master bedroom gets super hot at night and this helps cool our large room down quickly. It also sucks out the humidity and helps clean the air and suck out pet hair. I only wish we had gotten these sooner as it's been helping our allergies tremendously as well!!

I used to help remediate hard wood floors that have started to warp. It actually help draw them back to almost original conditions. I would highly recommend this product. The high speed fab can be loud, and I usually keep it off when in the same room. However overall it is a great dehumidifier.

I bought this dehumidifier for our guest bathroom that keeps very humidity every time someone take a shower. Because of that the bathroom started getting mold. I was looking for a good dehumidifier to help with that and this dehumidifier works great so far. Very easy to use and handle. I only turn it on after someone use the shower for about one hour and the whole bathroom gets dry very quick and I don't have mold problems anymore. I recommend this product.

So, as far as making the air less humid, this thing certainly did its job. Obviously, this is a larger model, so it's kind of difficult to find a spot for it inside the house. After further digging, it is my understanding this is intended for a basement. That being said, we've continued to keep it inside of our house tucked away in the corner--it's not very loud. The only downside that I've noticed is that it heats up the room a little bit (especially if we've also got the TV running). Otherwise, does what it's supposed to and was easy to get working.

I love this thing. Since using it the house has felt more comfortable. The A/C unit seems to be able to maintain temps in the house better with the humidity better controlled. I would recommend one of these units for any home. Just be sure to place it in a location where you can use the drain attachment for a hose so that you do not have to constantly empty the bucket.

Quiet and sleek unit. I love that it comes with an attachment allowing me to connect a hose, which is a convenient feature thus saving me time and hassle of needing to empty the water. This is a great feature for when I'm away from home for longer periods of time. Simple to set up, maneuvers easily and does what it's supposed to.

If you are looking for a simple, quiet dehumidifier, this is the one. I had never heard of Arctic King before getting this dehumidifier, but I am going to remember this name for the future. It is quiet, holds 35 pints of water, and is very easy to operate. We have ours located in our laundry room in the basement, and I only have to empty it about every three days. (We are in summer right now). There's a red light on top that goes on when the tank is full, and you simply pull out the bottom bucket, dump the water, and put the bucket back in. So simple! I also love the easy to use controls to keep the perfect amount of moisture in the air. Love this dehumidifier so far!

This dehumidifier works well, it does what it claims. It was pretty easy to figure out the set up and the bucket is easy to dump out when it is full although I may end up attaching a hose.I do notice a big difference in the humidity of the area. I like that it is quiet when it runs and it is not a huge unit. This is a great quality machine.

Have been using this for about one month in our very damp basement, this replaced an older more expensive unit which couldn't keep up. I have this timed to run during the hottest part of the day and have it set to drain so I don't have to worry about emptying it. Overall I am very happy with this unit and how well it runs and works.

This unit is very easy to use. If you do not want to empty the water holding container, you can slide a hose onto the fitting inside where the water container goes into the unit. Just put the other end of the hose into a drain. This will allow for worry free draining. Cleaning the filter is super easy. Pull out the drain bucket in the front of the unit. Pull down on the filter, wash, and reinstall. Put the drain bucket back in the unit and it is ready to use again. Instructions are easy to understand. The controls are easy to use. Humidity setting can be manual or automatic. Works and functions as described.
