Midea 21.6 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator

I bought this at lowes and was very impressed by construction and interior design but most of ALL dual icemaker (love). This replaced a GE profile frenchdoor, had for 12 years. I thought it was exceptional. Never called for service, ever but it finally broke down and needs new control for compressor could have easily fixed but age is factor and rust on inside case frame made that clear. Got this home (very heavy) And wow this thing is ULTRA quiet (quieter than my 2 sub-zero units) and fast cooling, excellent operation. Well done. But, not truly counterdepth as the doors are so thick that it hits counter edge, have to pull out from wall to clear. But it seems like most new fridges are like that. Overall great product and would buy Midea again.

We came across this brand when shopping for a fridge at Lowe's. We had not heard of it before, but it had everything we wanted. Having 2 ice makers is nice. If you need to fill something large with ice for a party or picnic you have the large compartment in the freezer full of ice and ready to go. It is also good if you quickly want to fill a pitcher or a large travel cup with ice. I love the middle drawer. I call it my deli drawer. You can adjust the temp depending on what you want to store in it. And the drawer is separate from the main part of the fridge. So you can open it without having to open up the entire refrigerator. I have noticed that everything seems to be colder in the fridge than in our old one that died. Also, the frozen foods seem to be colder and more solidly frozen than in our old fridge. The ice and water dispenser in the door could use some fixes. It is hard to fill a tall bottle with water. They don't fit. So you have to hold the dispenser button with one hand and hold the cup with your other hand and then bend over to see if you are getting the stream actually going into the bottle. My hand holding the bottle has slipped a few times when I was trying to fill it and I had a water mess to clean up. But bottom line is we really like the fridge so far (we have only had it for about 2 weeks). We bought the extended warranty so hopefully we get a good run with our new Midea refrigerator/freezer. 👍😄

Totally Love My Midea refrigerator I would buy it again it a keeper ! as it keeps my produce longer, & seems to stay fresh longer. plenty of space for larger bottles . it's quiet. it meets my refrigeration,Cooling and freezer needs. I would recommend if you're looking for a refrigerator ,this is your one to buy. In my opinion, this is it 🥰.

Honestly, I wanted not to like this refrigerator because of the price but it's attractive and I kept coming back to it. Honestly, I'm glad that I did. I've had it for one year and I agree with the other reviews. It definitely seems to keep my food fresher and after reading the reviews about the ice maker in other refrigerators I have to add, this one is fantastic! They're both fast and there's two of them! My only complaint would be that it is hard to find the filter and because they made their own filter, there is no less expensive alternative, which is kind of a bummer. But I would definitely buy it again.

Lights in the unit have been flickering and ice maker was making noise for the last couple months didn't think anything of it then the last couple weeks water was coming out of our door ice maker then yesturday unit just died, it's very convenient that it's just outside of the manufacturer warranty bought brand new from coldwrs in 2022 and it was a 2021 model coldwrs backs it for a year and that is the same warranty as the manufacturer I'm literally 2 months past the warranty. And technically it sat in my house in a box for 4 months during a kitchen remodel so it's really only 8 months old to me . Nice fridge but I wouldn't recommend buying it even with extended warranty, I traced the problem to a faulty wire inside the wall of the fridge so ultimately you can't even fix it without destroying the fridge.
