The 12,000 BTU air conditioner covers approximately 550 sq ft.

This AC unit is amazing . It is extremely efficient, cools the room down very quickly even on low fan speed. My two favorite features of this unit are the quietness and my second is the way it slowly ramps up its power .now i can run the AC and run it when i need it and not get a huge bill from PG&E
