10,000 BTU U-shaped Air Conditioner

Just installed the 10k BTU A/C in the window! Fairly easy installation. Very pleased with the results! Very Quiet & efficient! Love this product!

We absolutely love our new u- shaped air conditioner from Midea! I love how well it works, how easy it was to install and the remote! This u shaped air conditioner was a breeze to install. We have a house with older windows and this unit went in with no trouble at all. I love how much more secure it feels with the window closed further AND I love how much more energy efficient it is to have so much more of the window closed than with traditional shaped units. After a quick installation following the instructions, this unit was ready to go and cooling down our back room really quickly. The thermostat is really effective and keeps the room at the preset temperature really efficiently. I have noticed a drop in our electric bill compared to last year with a less efficient window unit. The remote is very convenient and easy to use. I also really love the humidity control this unit allows you to have. My husband has several guitars in the room we use this unit for and it helps keep the humidity at a safe level for his guitars, no matter the conditions outside. Overall this is a fantastic unit that's designed well, easy to use and energy efficient! I'm so happy with it!

The Midea 10,000 BTU U-shaped Air Conditioner has been a great addition to our household! Setup was easy and done by myself and my daughter. It cooled down the front of our house so good! I must say my family and I were thrilled when finding out I'd be receiving this item! we live in Louisiana, so having this during hot summer months as well as for power outages due to hurricanes and being able to hook this up to a generator will be amazing!

I received this air conditioner in exchange for my honest review. I had never heard of a U shaped air conditioner before so I was intrigued. It was super easy to install as it came with all the brackets and foam pieces to secure it in the window. It is super quiet and cools off my living room so fast! This is the best window unit we have ever owned. I just can't get over how quiet it is! You almost can't even tell it's on because you can barely hear it. I love that you can control it with the app or the remote. It gets so hot here in the summer so this is a blessing! The usage on this modern window AC unit is lightyears ahead of those old, big, noisy models often still seen in homes throughout Florida (where I live). I needed a boost in a west facing add on in my 1980's home. Not willing to shell out for an upgrade on the whole-house system, I thought this might work for us and IT DOES! The design is unobtrusive. The U shape allows my window to stay mostly closed, so the noise stays outside! I think my washing machine is louder even with laundry room door closed. The air flow is great. The operation via remote or app makes it easy to use. The space I am using this unit in tends to be 3 to 4* warmer than the rest of the house. I can add extra cooling to this space only without wasting that cool air in remainder of the house. I'm quite pleased and happy to tell my friends and neighbors about my new cooling solution with the Midea U shaped window AC.

I received the Midea 10,000 BTU U-shaped Air Conditioner for my window. First, the installation was extremely easy.the directions were written out easy to follow. It came with the window mount for outside for added support. I was happy about that. Second, when I say that this AC unit is extremely quiet. I mean it's EXTREMELY QUIET! I had an older unit before this one that was loud. So now having this one is a huge upgrade for me. Third, it's modern, it's very appealing and best of all it cools the living room good and fast. It comes with a remote control and also connects to your phone. I love it! The only complaint that I could say is that they should give more of the strip foam because they just give enough and I had to go out to buy more. Not a huge deal but just wanted make it away that you will probably need to have some extra on hand.

I got the 10,000 but u shaped air conditioner to try and it works so great and fits perfectly in my window and it's also Bluetooth so I can change setting from my phone which is awesome. But if your looking for a nice window air conditioner this summer I recommend this one and the price of it isn't that bad either.

I love how advanced this air conditioner is. It comes with a remote, but you can also use an app. On the app, you can set it to turn on when you are at a certain distance from your house, while you are in town, and more. The air blows out great and can even act as a dehumidifier. My only complaint is that it is a little bit of an eyesore because I rather it be flush with the walls, but I love everything else.

So we've got this in our living room window and we can feel it way back in our bedroom! I had to tapcon the holding bracket into brick (which I supplied) but other than that, it's predominantly flawless! The air director flap, the settings, it's all so user friendly.
