Midea Arctic King 5,000 BTU Mechanical Window Air Conditioner

Our AC unit went out at the beginning of the summer. We decided to put a window unit in our living room since that is the main room we are in. This until definitely cooled off the room, however we live in GA and our summer just over powered this unit during the day. At night, it was so comfortable!! My son actually put on a sweatshirt one night. This unit would be great for a smaller room where you could close the door and calorie the cold air.

I loved being able to put this in my child's bedroom because it gets so hot in there during the summer even when the window is open and the fans are on. The installation was easy, it cools really well and is easy to adjust to the setting you need. I didn't have any issues with leakage like I have with window units in the past so that was a big plus.

It fit very easily in my window, which made it hassle free. It also has an easy to clean filter. You can also adjust the temperature settings to your liking. This Air Conditioner was so needed this year and has been working GREAT! It's been a very warm summer here and this is perfect in our bedroom. Our bedroom is approx. 8 x 10 in size. We have newer double hung windows and has no issue putting it in the window. Controls are easy to use. It's not super loud where it keeps you awake at night. I would definitely get another for our other bedrooms. It puts out a good amount of cool air. I was using a non window (portable) A/C and I wasn't happy with the way it was cooling but am very pleased with this one. I definitely would recommend this.

Our house's 2nd story is really only a half story and it gets really hot upstairs in our kids rooms. Our house AC system has to be cranked way up to get their rooms cool enough to sleep in and then our main floor is freezing. We put this AC unit on our upstairs landing in between the two bedrooms and leave the doors open, it helps cool the whole upstairs. We really only need to use it in the late afternoon and early evening but have had no problems. It is louder than a fan but nothing that bothers us where we have it. Easy to install and simple to use.

This Arctic King 5000 BTU Window Air Conditioner for Small Rooms, ac unit couldn't arrive at a better time. It has a unique modern update look and is equipped for a small room. Upon opening the box it does provide instructions and materials to set the ac unit in the window. Which it allows a secure installation. The setup time didn't take as long and. Before you know it the room has chilled quickly. Being that my home has two units. I find it manageable to only run this air conditioner and one unit. So far my utilities will be lowered than ever before. I highly recommend this unit. It works for me and I have it in a master bedroom. However, please let someone help you install do to lifting.

This is the best window air conditioner I've owned. I have owned several different units for my bedroom in high school, and college/grad school - this unit is by far the best. Super easy set up. It's very quiet and incredibly efficient - keeps my room cool and has a straight-forward design and installation. I will be recommending this product to all friends! Simple unit controls - quick adjustment of temperature with an adjustment for sleep mode, which I love.
