I had this dehumidifier plugged in on max continuous setting to remove moisture. After 2 days there was no water on the bucket. Gave it a two star because I like the design, it just did t work.Review by Jay 07/12/2021
Fantastic at removing water. Long story short, I have exchanged this unit 2 times in one month after advice from Midea customer service (send them a video of the issue). The dehumidifier does not click on until the humidity is 5+ points above the set-point. However, if you switch the unit off and then on, the dehumidifier will run regardless of the humidity level. Latest is that the clean filter light comes on despite the unit running only a few days or weeks and the filters are pristine. I really, really, really like the dehumidifier for removing water, but deeply concerned that this third unit will manifest other electronic problems in addition to above issues. This is my third exchanged unit in 3-months. I work in the basement so the dehumidifier is my constant companion and I am able to notice these problems.Review by RH 25/10/2022
This dehumidifier works really well when it's on. The fatal flaw in it is that the humidistat is around 12-17% off. I measured with three calibrated humidistats and it was consistently much lower. Setting the humidifier to 35% would often see the real humidity above 50% before it kicked on. I tried to contact customer support but got stonewalled. I ended up returning it for a refund. I thought about getting it exchanged but with customer service nonexistent it wasn't worth the hassle.Review by Steve 15/09/2021
