Easy to use,I put in my basement and within a few hours I could tell the difference. No musty smell and dry.

I just purchased this dehumidifier and, it's awesome
I purchased it yesterday, had it set up by 5pm. The unit turned itself off at 1pm the next day (today). It pulled out a lot of water from the air. I was shocked, really. This machine really draws the moisture out of the air. I There are 4 settings for how much water you want accumulated before the unit shuts off. I chose 3 so, the bucket was a little under half. I dumped it in the bathtub. Currently, and every summer, Southern Ontario is under heat advisory and the humidity is absurd. It is hot sweaty and sticky. With this machine, it is not a sticky and sweaty heat. The heat is more manageable. Dehumidifiers give off heat and this is how they draw moisture. I don't know the science behind it but apparently this is what happens so, as I say, the heat is still here however, the heat is more manageable. I may get an air conditioner from Midea. Run the air conditioner for awhile and then, turn on the dehumidifier. The tutorial video is really good. The machine is able to be set for however much water you want so you are able to avoid some big heavy amount of water to lift up to the sink to empty. ...one more note, customer service is really good. I am happy with this purchase.

Unit was working well initially but it was the end of the humidity season, constantly removingn humidity and dripping water. At the beginning of the new season the dehumidifier started to freeze up up to half the coils and not water is dripping. If you stop it the ice would all melt within 30 minutes. Same problem when you re-start. Water coming out it oily. Contacted support and sent all the pictures required but were still aksing for pictures. sounded like a robot answering e-mail.
