5,000 BTU ComfortSense 3-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner

My Son and I use these Midea portable 5000 btu air conditioners in our rv's to help during the extra hot day's of summer and they really help. They work as a dehumidifier too. I built a stand to sit it on so it can drain with the clear tube it came with. I also insulated the exhaust hose going out the window. Very happy with a great product.

Most continous days in mid to upper 90's work good cooled my master bedroom. Get a 2 house model for better efficiency. If you can get some 4 inch insulated duct remove center aluminum pipe push the plastic pipe you through to stop more radiant heat from escaping into the room. I have mine on a box to raise it 14 inches to help the drain hose into my big mop bucket. I get 2 or 3 gallons of water every couple days.

Love the unit, but mine is leaking water from the bottom. All valves are closed properly drained and I have water coming out the bottom please advise.

It is a good unit but cannot get the drain line to hook on. It overflows with water, it was supposed to give a notification when it would so it wouldn't drain out on the floor.

This thing is a life saver! I get heat exhaustion easily. I can take cold but not heat. Since I live in an old A Frame and it's on fuses, (believe it or not) I couldn't go higher than 5000 watts on this, but it's definitely enough. I live in southwestern Nova Scotia and it never got hot or humid enough here for an air conditioner. But in the last 3 years it's become very bad. Now no store around here can keep these things on the shelves as customers are right there when the pallet rolls out. I have two of them, one for downstairs and one for upstairs at night. I've been using mine for 3 years now. You really can't go wrong with this. I see there is one complaint but isn't there always? Just make sure you're not trying to cool a room that is too big for the size unit you're using, that all windows are closed and follow the directions in the manual. I much prefer this over a window a/c as I don't have the space to store that in the winter. This portable a/c I can just push into a corner easily.

It's amazing it works great I todally recomended it cools the whole house and it comes with a remote so easy to install great air conditioning to apply in ur home

I never thought of purchasing nor did I really know these existed. It's slightly bulky but it does cool down a room. We are using it in an office room and Surprisingly it gets really cold and it's easy to use. It's quiet enough not to disturb others. The LED screen makes it easy to see the temperature and control the settings. Fan and humidifier option is awesome. Using this in the texas heat so you know it works!

The AC worked pretty well. The installment was pretty easy however, it does take up a lot of space. It does refresh the room with cold air. It comes with a control with an easy use. Everything is user friendly.
