Midea DUO 12,000 BTU SACC Smart Inverter Portable Air Conditioner with Heat, White

I recently bought this air unit to put in my garage when I worked on projects, I wasn't sure if this unit was big enought to handle my garage which is 3 car 30x28. To my suprise it keeps my garage between 79 and 80 degrees here in Florida on 93-94 outside temp days. More than pleased. I did insulate my doors and attic. I would definitely recommend, also very quiet.

This is an amazing portable air conditioner! We have a room in our house that is ALWAYS HOT and this unit has managed to cool it down and keep it cool. It's a little noisy, but nothing unexpected with a portable air conditioning unit. It also serves as a dehumidifier so that's a great aspect too! Love this product and would absolutely recommend it!

So far this Midea portable A/C is working flawlessly. We have it in a finished space above a detached garage that is a little over 400 sqft and it is more than adequate. Like most portable units it is a bit noisy but not as bad as others we've used. The connectivity has been a bit buggy but that could be wifi strength in that area and we haven't had a chance to get a new node to increase signal strength.

Though we have air conditioning throughout our house, there are rooms in which we still need a boost, especially in the high heat of spring and summer. Our master bedroom was one of those rooms and this Midea Portable Air Conditioner has been an absolute game changer. Installation was quick and easy (under an hour) and it fit perfectly within the area we had intended it for. It includes every possible accessory to adapt and fit any style and size of window. Though it has a large profile, it is worth it considering how well this works for a unit of this size. Even for a heavy unit, it was easy to maneuver this in place and get it vented to the window. Within mere minutes of turning it on, we could feel icy cold air and within a hour (maybe even less), our room was noticeably cooler and comfortable. We run it on low most of the time and it is very quiet, almost like white noise when we are sleeping. Even on medium or higher though, it is not excessively loud and doesn't rattle or make any annoying noise like other unit we've tried. The remote control took a little bit of learning and trial and error to get it right, but it is a very convenient feature. The unit has lots of great features including a swing mode (basically rotates the fan to spread cool air instead of blowing one direction constantly), a timer, sleep and various other modes, including heat. It has been an incredible value and welcome addition to our home and I cannot recommend it enough!

This air conditioner was so easy to install. And it comes with everything you need for the installation. It does wonders at cooling down a room. Anyone who does not have central air knows that there are those certain places in your home that just do not get coiled down like you would like...this portable ac is the perfect answer to fix that issue. It has wheels as well, so it is so easy to move. And now my entire home stays cool even on those 100 degree days. And I can't wait to try the heat on it this winter!

I don't have an A/C in my house. Our living room gets to be too uncomfortable in the summer and we have to spend most of the time in the basement. After installing this in our living room, our space has been much cooler and comfortable. It stays like this all day and can keep up with the heat. Set up was a breeze-the hardest part is getting the panels adjusted to the window size. The performance is great and quickly cooled the 500 sq ft room. The auto feature is nice as it will run as needed to maintain the set temperature. The heat feature will also come in handy in the winter...no longer will I need a separate space heater! Overall, this is a quality product and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a portable cooling and heating solution.

My house is a fixer upper, with an hvac system that works great in half of the house. As summer rapidly approached, I realized that the upper two bedrooms on one side of the house remained miserably hot as the sun moved around. A window unit isn't ideal upstairs and for some reason, these windows open sideways. Which made a stand alone unit the better option. This a/c arrived well protected and packaged and was quick to get out of the box. It's a little heavy but okay for one person to lift and move. Within minutes we had it on, venting out of the window, secured, and cooling like a charm. Set up and installation was so easy. The vent is a snap to secure to the window. It adds noise to the room, there is no mistaking that. But it's not excessive and it's quite close to a low white noise hum. It is larger than a window unit of course but it doesn't have an excessively large footprint. It takes up little space in my son's bedroom. The remote and app control are great! It allows us to see what the temp is in the room upstairs and adjust it once seeing my son lowered it to 55. It cools like a champion! We have been so crazy impressed by how well it cools the room. It's a small room we use it in mostly, sure. But there's no doubt we can move it to any larger area once temps crest 100 this summer and stay comfortable. Even our downstairs living room or larger bedroom. This is a great portable air conditioner and we're going to get a second so that we don't have to share this summer! Easy vent installation, easy to move around, cools like a dream. We ran it in heat to test it and it heats really, really well. This is a solid appliance.

This is so easy to set up and cools off the area really fast. I love the remote so if I'm cold in the middle of the night I don't have to get up to adjust it. I just tried out the heat setting to see if it worked and it definitely does as well.
