Midea Malaysia officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 99 Speed Mart on 29 July 2026, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s continued retail expansion across Malaysia.
Through this strategic partnership, a selection of Midea home appliances will be introduced across 99 Speed Mart’s extensive nationwide network, creating new touchpoints for consumers to discover and purchase Midea products closer to where they live and shop.

The highlight of the event was the official MoU signing ceremony.
Representing Midea Malaysia was Managing Director Mr Mark Tam, witnessed by Mr Zeal Jiang, President of the Asia Pacific (APAC) Region for Midea International Business. Representing 99 Speed Mart was Chief Operating Officer Mr Yong Eng Kwang, witnessed by Executive Director and CEO Mr Lee Thiam Wah.
Following the signing, representatives from both organisations gathered for a commemorative photo session to mark the milestone.
