Midea Brand Festival: 2+1 Warranty

1. The “Brand Festival: 2+1 Warranty” activity (the “Activity”) is organized by MD (Singapore) Consumer Product Co. Pte. Ltd. (Company Registration Number: 201906062M) (the “Company” or “Midea”). By participating in this activity, each participants agrees to be bound by the Terms & Conditions set forth herein.

2. Eligibility

a. This activity is open to Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents and Singapore Residents (with a valid employment pass or work permit or long-term pass which is valid at the time of the activity period. Limited to only 18 years and above as stated on their Identity Card/Passport.)

b. By participating in this activity, each participant warrants and agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. All rules and regulations and instructions issued by the Company from time to time will be deemed incorporated in these Terms & Conditions.

c. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria as stated herein at any time (with or without notice or reason) and/or determine at its sole discretion whether any contestant should be excluded from entering or participating in the Contest.

d. To qualify for this activity, participants must purchase selected Midea product during the activity period.

3. Activity Period

a. The activity is valid from 1st March 2023, 00:00 hrs to 30th June 2023, 23:59 hrs.

b. Participants must purchase the selected product within the promotion period and receive the product by 31st July 2023, 23:59 hrs to enjoy the extended warranty.

4. Activity Mechanics

a. Participants must purchase the selected Midea product from any authorized Midea retailer or online store during the activity period to qualify for the extended warranty.

c. Participants who purchased the selected products from Midea authorized dealer will receive the 2+1 Platinum Card from the retailer directly.

5. Activity Period

a. Purchase Date (As per invoice): 1st March 2023 to 30th June 2023

b. Delivery Date: must be within 1st March 2023 to 31st July 2023

6. Extended Warranty

a. The extended warranty period is valid for one additional year from the date of the original warranty expiry.

b. The extended warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover damages caused by mishandling or misuse.

c. The extended warranty is only valid in Singapore.

d. If the participants received the product after 31st July 2023, they will not be able to enjoy the extended warranty.

e. Midea reserves the right to modify the promotion at any time without prior notice.

f. By participating in this activity, participants agree to the terms and conditions mentioned above.

g. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with the activity, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

h. A person who is not party to any agreement governed by these Terms & Conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any terms of such agreement.
