Terms and Conditions of Midea Smart Living Campaign

The “Midea Smart Living” (the “Campaign”) is organized by Midea Scott & English Electronics Sdn Bhd (“Midea”). By participating in this Campaign, each participant agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set forth herein.

1.    Campaign Period

The Campaign will commence on 15 December 2025, 00:00AM (GMT+8) Malaysia Time, and end on 31 March 2026, 11:59PM (GMT+8) Malaysia Time.

2.     The Campaign Mechanics are as follows:

a)     Participants who purchase selected Midea‘s products during the Campaign Period are entitled to receive e-wallet rebate rewards.

b)     Alternatively, every RM128 or more spent on any Midea product from an authorized Midea distributor (online or retail) during the Campaign Period will entitle the participant to one(1) Entry to win a Midea’s product.

c)     Participants who qualify under Clause 2(a)&(b) must scan the QR code[V1]  (URL: https://q.me-qr.com/a2vv0NX3) to complete the registration form to submit their entry. Failure to complete the registration form within the stipulated timeframe [V2] will be deemed a forfeiture, and the participant will no longer be eligible to win the Campaign Prize.

d)     Entries will only qualify for the Campaign if submitted within the Campaign Period. Entries submitted outside of the Campaign Period, or submitted through any means other than specified herein, will not be eligible for the Campaign. Any complaints on missing and/or delayed submissions will not be entertained.

e)     Each qualifying receipt entitles the participant to one (1) entry to win a Midea product. Additional entries may be obtained with each additional qualifying receipt.

f)      Prizes are not exchangeable by the winner(s) for cash or other items, and are not transferable.

3.     Eligibility criteria are as follows:

a)     Typically open to Malaysian residents aged 18 and above.

b)     Only original receipts with clearly printed transaction amounts, date, and outlet name will be accepted for the redemption.

c)     Participants must provide valid information, including a valid name, email address, mobile number, and a Malaysian shipping address.

d)     Patrons are entitled to entries with one receipt throughout the Campaign Period if the qualification requirement is met.

e)     Employees and agents of Midea, their respective families, households or anyone professionally connected with this Campaign (in Midea's opinion), are not eligible to enter this Campaign.

4.     Prize Collection —Touch ‘n Go e-Wallet Rebate Redemption

a)     Participants who qualify under Clause 2(a) shall be entitled to receive the Touch ’n Go e-wallet rebate, in accordance with the Campaign Mechanics.

b)     Participants who qualify under Clause 2(a) must scan the QR code (URL: https://q.me-qr.com/a2vv0NX3) and complete the registration form to submit their entry. Failure to complete the registration [V3] form will be deemed as a forfeiture, and the participant will no longer be eligible to receive the Touch ’n Go e-wallet rebate.

c)    Midea shall notify eligible participants via email within seven 7 working days upon verification of their valid participation. The rebate will be credited within 60 working days [V4] from the date the participation is verified as valid, irrespective of whether the purchase was made online or at a retail store.

d)     The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for cash, or any other items. Midea reserves the right to award a different prize equivalent in value at its sole discretion.

e)     All prize(s) with purchase are on first come, first serve basis, while stock last.

f)      Midea shall not be held liable for any delays or unsuccessful fulfilment arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or invalid participant information.

g)     The prize distribution timeline is subject to change based on stock availability and other unforeseen circumstances. While we will make every effort to adhere to the specified timelines, winners acknowledge that delays may occur, and any updates will be communicated via e-mail. Further details regarding the prize giveaway will be communicated to the winner(s) including the venue and time of the prize collection.

5.     Prize Collection — Monthly Prizes

a)     Participants who qualify under Clause 2(b) will receive one(1) prize which is an Midea’s product as stated in the Campaign Mechanics.

b)     Participants who qualify under Clause 2(b) must scan the QR code[V5]  (URL: https://q.me-qr.com/a2vv0NX3) and complete the registration form to submit their entry. Failure to complete the registration form will be deemed as a forfeiture, and the participant will no longer be eligible to receive the monthly prizes.

c)     Midea shall notify the winners via email within 7 working days after the winner confirmation. The prize will be delivered within 60 working days from the notification.

6.     Provision for Prizes Collection under Section (4) & (5)

a)     The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for cash, or any other items. Midea reserves the right to award a different prize equivalent in value at its sole discretion.

b)     All prize(s) with purchase are on first come, first serve basis, while stock last.

c)     The prize will be delivered to the winner free of charge.

d)     Midea shall not be responsible for any failed delivery due to inaccurate or incomplete delivery information provided by the winner.

e)     The prize distribution timeline is subject to change based on stock availability and other unforeseen circumstances. While we will make every effort to adhere to the specified timelines, winners acknowledge that delays may occur, and any updates will be communicated via e-mail. Further details regarding the prize giveaway will be communicated to the winner(s) including the venue and time of the prize collection.

7.     General

a)     Midea reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of fraud, or whose entry and/or results Midea believes have been manipulated in any way, or who otherwise interferes with the Campaign or does not adhere to these Terms and Conditions.

b)     In the event of any dispute arising from the Campaign or relating to the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, the decision of Midea shall be final and binding on all parties. No correspondence, appeal or further claims will be entertained.

c)     By participating in the Campaign, the participant is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any other instructions, terms, and conditions that Midea may issue from time to time.

d)     Participants will only be confirmed as winner(s) after the verification of validity of each participation. Midea reserves the right to check the validity of any participation. Entries failing to comply with the Terms and Conditions herein will not be accepted.

e)     Midea reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the Campaign and to amend or change these Terms and Conditions at any time for whatever reason and without giving prior notice to the participants. The decision of Midea on all matters relating to or in connection with the Campaign is final, and no correspondence will be entertained.

f)      A participant shall fully indemnify and hold Midea harmless from and against any loss, damage, cost, liability, or expense (including legal fees), whether direct or indirect, which Midea incurs in respect of, in connection with, and/or arising from the participant’s breach of these Terms and Conditions.

g)     All pictures and /or images of the Eligible Product(s) and the Eligible Gift(s) found in any advertising and marketing material are for illustration purposes only and may be different from the actual products.

h)     In the event of any inconsistencies or discrepancies between these Terms and Conditions and the contents of any brochure, marketing and/or promotional materials relating to the Campaign, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

i)      In the event of inconsistency or discrepancy between the English version and other versions of the Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

j)      The Campaign Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Malaysian law. The Courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.

k)     By participating in the Campaign, each participant is communicating with Midea electronically. By doing so, each participant agrees to receive communications from Midea electronically. Midea will communicate by electronic mail to the electronic mail address provided by the participant and/or posting notices on the Campaign website. Each participant consents to receiving electronically all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that Midea provides in relation to the Campaign.

l)      Each participant agrees that he/she may be required by Midea to take part in marketing, promotional and/or publicity exercises with respect to the Campaign, and may be requested by Midea to grant to Midea such consents and waivers in respect of Midea’s use and/or disclosure of his/her name, voice, photograph, likeness or other personal identifiable information in any media (including such personal identifiable information contained in any promotional photographs and/or audio/video recordings taken in respect of the Campaign), for the promotion and publicity of this campaign, Midea brand and/or Midea products. Each participant agrees that he/she is free to decline to participate or to provide such consents and waivers; however, in such an event then the participant may be disqualified from participating in the Campaign.

m)   Except where expressly provided herein, each participant shall bear his/her own costs and expenses incurred and/or arising from his/her participation in the Campaign, and no reimbursement may be sought from Midea.

n)     Midea will be conducted under the supervision of Midea, and Midea reserves the right to make any final decision regarding the campaign process and prize distribution.

o)     By participating in this Campaign, the participants agree and acknowledge that Midea collects, uses and processes and/or discloses (including third party overseas) participants’ personal information in order to conduct this Campaign, and in accordance with the Midea Privacy Policy (https://www.midea.com/my/privacy-policy). Each participant consents to such collection, use, processing and disclosure of his/her personal information and represents and warrants that all information provided is true and accurate in all respects. Validity of enrollment is conditional on providing this information. Each participant agrees that Midea may, for a reasonable period of time, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or making phone calls to the participant(s).
