Season 2 Brings Greater Challenge

Season 2 raises the bar even higher than Season 1, both in competition format and participation scale. The most significant change is the inclusion of outdoor unit installation as part of the judging criteria.

While Season 1 focused primarily on indoor unit installation and system connections, Season 2 requires participants to complete both indoor and outdoor installations as a single evaluated project.

Installing an outdoor unit introduces additional technical challenges, including proper positioning, refrigerant line set handling, bracket mounting, and ensuring the system operates without excessive vibration or noise.

As a result, the judging process now more closely reflects real-world working conditions rather than a controlled training environment. In Indonesia, all competition stages will use the Midea Celest Inverter AC.

Competition Timeline

Registration closes on July 5, 2026. The Preliminary Round begins on July 21, officially launching the competition in each participating country. Successful participants will advance to the Semi-Final in September, before the best technicians from across Southeast Asia compete in the Southeast Asia Grand Final in China, taking place from November 11–14, 2026.
