Launching Celest AC Inverter

Jakarta – Midea Electronics Indonesia officially introduced the Midea AC Celest Inverter, a domestically manufactured smart air conditioner manufactured at Midea's factory in Jababeka, Cikarang, West Java.

This latest Midea AC product utilizes the latest artificial intelligence technology, AI Ecomaster. Celest is designed as a more energy-efficient air conditioning solution, capable of cooling rooms faster, and easy to maintain for both users and technicians.

Hendry Wijaya, Product Management Head of Midea Electronics Indonesia, stated that the launch of Celest marks an important milestone for Midea in delivering relevant innovations for domestic consumers. He emphasized that the AI ​​technology in Celest is designed to deliver real efficiency without compromising the quality of Midea's household products.

"Midea wants to ensure that every innovation we introduce truly provides tangible benefits to users. Through Celest, we're introducing AI technology that's not only smart, but also practical and energy-efficient, so consumers can enjoy maximum comfort with lower operating costs," said Hendry at the launch of the Celest AC in Jakarta on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

The Midea Celest Inverter AC comes in capacities ranging from 0.5 HP to 2.5 HP, giving consumers the flexibility to adjust to the size of their room. With its low power consumption, users only spend the equivalent of around one thousand rupiah per day. This makes Celest one of the most efficient inverter ACs in its class.

Despite being equipped with cutting-edge AI technology, Celest remains more affordable than its competitors. Celest also offers a modern design with a matte finish that aligns with current home interior trends. This achievement further strengthens Midea's reputation as the World's No. 1 Inverter Brand, according to Euromonitor International data for the 2022–2024 period.

Four Advanced Features of the Midea Celest Inverter AC

The Celest's superiority is reinforced by four key features optimized for the needs of Indonesian consumers. AI Ecomaster technology, with temperature precision of up to 0.3°C, balances comfort and energy savings, delivering up to 30% more electricity efficiency than standard mode.

CoolFlash ensures rapid cooling even when outside temperatures reach 55°C, allowing the room to cool down quickly. Celest's long-term durability is also supported by its PrimeGuard feature, which combines corrosion-resistant TU1 copper tubing, a protective coating 12.5 times stronger than Blue Coated Fins, and a PCB capable of operating over a wider voltage range.

Meanwhile, the I-Clean feature provides a self-cleaning mechanism for the indoor unit with automatic dedusting and evaporator freezing down to -10°C to remove dust and dirt. This simplifies daily maintenance and keeps the unit operating optimally.
