MCFIT Season 2 officially kicks off in Bekasi. ASEAN's largest Midea AC installer competition will be held across 7 cities in Indonesia before the Grand Final in China.
Bekasi – Following the opening of registration in June, the Midea Club Flash Installation Tournament (MCFIT) Season 2 has officially kicked off its competition series in Indonesia with the opening event held in Bekasi. The event was officially inaugurated by Ighvar Rabbighfirly, Head of Sales, RAC, PT Midea Electronics Indonesia, marking the start of ASEAN's largest air conditioner installation competition.
Bekasi is the first of seven Indonesian cities hosting the national qualifying rounds, where Midea's best AC installers will compete by demonstrating fast, precise, and safety-compliant installation skills. The competition is part of the Midea Club Flash Installation Tournament (MCFIT) Season 2, which is being held simultaneously across Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. National champions from each participating country will advance to the ASEAN Grand Final in China.
"The Midea Club Flash Installation Tournament is more than just a competition to test installation speed. Through this event, we aim to provide a platform for Midea's best AC installers to continuously enhance their skills while promoting safe, high-quality, and professional installation standards. We hope MCFIT will not only improve participants' technical capabilities but also provide well-deserved recognition for the installer profession," said Ighvar Rabbighfirly, Head of Sales, RAC, PT Midea Electronics Indonesia.
Carrying the theme "Deserve to Be Seen," MCFIT Season 2 reflects Midea's commitment to recognizing the dedication, expertise, and professionalism of AC installers. The competition also serves as a platform to further develop the capabilities of Midea's top installers through challenges that emphasize speed, precision, and compliance with installation safety standards.
Guided by the philosophy "Master Speed, More Profit," Season 2 introduces a more comprehensive challenge than the previous edition by adding outdoor unit installation as part of the competition assessment. In Indonesia, all participants will install the Midea Celest Inverter air conditioner, allowing judges to evaluate not only installation speed but also accuracy, installation quality, and adherence to workplace safety standards.
In addition to competing for the National Champion title, participants will have the opportunity to win several special awards, including Favorite Installer through public voting and the Best Team Award. The National Champion will represent Indonesia at the ASEAN Grand Final in China to compete for the prestigious Master of Speed title. Overall, the competition offers total prizes worth hundreds of millions of rupiah.
MCFIT Season 2 in Indonesia will take place across seven cities during the qualifying rounds before concluding with the National Final in Jakarta.
Competition Schedule:
Through this nationwide competition, Midea hopes more of its outstanding AC installers will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and earn the chance to compete on the regional stage.
The success of MCFIT 2025 laid a strong foundation for the launch of Season 2. Last year, the competition reached more than 13,000 installers across five ASEAN countries, with over 1,000 participants competing throughout the three-month tournament. The competition concluded with the top 25 finalists advancing to the Grand Final in China.
For Season 2, Midea aims to attract even broader participation while raising the competition standards. Through MCFIT, Midea continues to go beyond organizing an AC installation competition by strengthening installer competencies, promoting professionalism, and recognizing the valuable contributions of Midea's best AC installers in delivering comfort to communities.
