Midea achieved its highest-ever ranking of No. 231 in the 2026 Fortune Global 500, driven by strong business growth and AI innovation.
On July 28, the 2026 Fortune Global 500 was officially released, with Midea Group ranking No. 231, up 15 places from last year and marking its highest position to date. This also marks Midea’s 11th consecutive appearance on the prestigious list, reaffirming its position as one of the world’s leading technology companies.

Amid the uncertainties of a complex global economic environment, Midea continued to deliver record-breaking results in 2025. The company reported RMB 458.5 billion in total revenue, up 12.1% year on year, while net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 43.95 billion, an increase of 14.0%. Overseas revenue totaled RMB 195.9 billion, up 15.9% year on year. Revenue, profit and overseas business all achieved double-digit growth, highlighting the continued success of Midea’s global expansion strategy.
Midea is accelerating its transformation into an AI-enabled global technology group, embedding AI across four core business scenarios: Smart Home, Intelligent Manufacturing, Smart Office, and Industrial Solutions.
Today, Midea has built an AI R&D team of more than 400 engineers, with over 13,000 AI agents operating daily across residential, office, manufacturing, healthcare, warehousing, and logistics scenarios. In 2025 alone, AI applications helped improve operational efficiency by more than 15 million hours and generated RMB 700 million in cost savings.
In the Smart Home business, Midea launched MevoX, the first AI agent deployed in the home appliance industry that enables a full “Perception–Learning–Decision–Execution” loop. Today, more than 140 million Midea smart home appliances are connected worldwide.
In Intelligent Manufacturing, AI now supports the entire value chain, from R&D and production to marketing. At Midea’s Jingzhou washing machine factory, 14 AI agents have been deployed across 38 core production scenarios, delivering an average efficiency improvement of more than 80% and enabling the factory to evolve from traditional automation to autonomous decision-making.
Building on its leadership in the home appliance sector, Midea has developed a strong second growth engine across robotics, new energy, building technologies, industrial components, healthcare, and logistics.
In 2025, Midea’s ToB business generated RMB 122.8 billion in revenue, up 17.5% year on year, surpassing RMB 120 billion for the first time. KUKA, one of the world’s leading industrial robotics companies, further strengthened its position in China, with its market share increasing to 9.6% in 2025, maintaining its position among the industry's top three players.
Midea also achieved significant breakthroughs in overseas markets. Midea brand was certified by Euromonitor International as the World’s No. 1 Smart Home Appliances Brand by Volume Sales in 2025. The number of countries and regions covered by Midea’s directly operated overseas subsidiaries increased from 27 to 50, while Midea’s own brands ranked No. 1 by market share across 32 product categories on key Amazon marketplaces in North America, Europe, and Japan.
Strong business performance has enabled Midea to continue delivering attractive returns to shareholders. In 2025, the company allocated 100% of its annual net profit attributable to shareholders toward shareholder returns, with total cash dividends and share buybacks reaching RMB 44 billion.
During the reporting period, Midea generated RMB 53.3 billion in operating cash flow. The company proposed a cash dividend of RMB 3.8 per 10 shares, and together with its interim dividend, the total annual dividend amounted to RMB 4.3 per 10 shares in 2025, with total cash dividends reaching RMB 32.4 billion.
Over the past decade, Midea Group has distributed more than RMB 150 billion in cumulative dividends, sharing the value created through its long-term growth with global investors.
